A very rare "open-ended" interview with El Debarge from 1986 Motown Promotional Disk. Motown created four "Superstar Interview Disks" (the others were for Smokey Robinson, Sam Harris, and Vanity) of which El's is said to be the last. Listen to the interview below in two parts:

Welcomes and Reasons

Welcome. This un-official blog was created as a tribute to the members of the DeBarge family that began recording music in the 70s and 80s. This blog also aims to be a resource for current and future fans. In the past, information and photos about the DeBarges were hard to find online--but today, with renewed interest in the musical family, there is a variety of media in various outlets on the internet. We wanted to make that media easy to find in a public space for all to view, listen, and learn about one of the most talented families in music history.

In the future, we also hope to provide vintage images, articles, and music that are not currently online (or provide ones that are, in a higher viewing quality).

If you own photos or footage of Switch or DeBarge that you would like to share directly with us, please do (at info.tdblog@gmail.com). Also if you know of rare video footage, interesting articles etc.. currently online and we do not have them linked in our side-bar categories, feel free to email us and share the link.
